Workflow alert - wrong user attributed with changes

Hi everyone

My PM colleague received an automated email which alerted her to the recent changes on her sheet. At the bottom of the email it says 'changes made by Jim@xxx.com' (who has permissions in the Workspace as Editor - Cannot Share) and who HAD viewed the sheet, but had certainly NOT made the changes. The PM herself had made the changes, which were then wrongly attributed to Jim.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what's going on here?

Didn't Jim make any changes in with an update request or similar?

just a guess..

Is there a maybe hidden (or not) column in the sheet that has a a formula auto updating the content (e.g. date) from another sheet?

I used to have those hidden helpers in a specific solution and they triggered the sheet to be autosaved when opening and just viewing. You can check by using the system columns "changed by" etc. or by checking the history of changes.
