Backup all workspaces

I need to be able to backup all workspaces at once. Backing up each workspace one by one is tedious and a waste of time.

I know someone is going to tell me "even system admins cannot backup workspaces they are not shared to, and can only backup workspaces they own or are shared with." So, let me do that. At least let me backup everything I own or have shared permissions.

Or create a Super Admin role that lets the user backup everything.

Just figure something out to make backups more useful and less of a chore.

Transfer ownership as part of removing someone

When removing someone from my organization, I shouldn't have to transition owned permissions to someone else first. I should be able to say "remove user" and then it should pop up with a window saying "this person owns X items, who would you like these items transferred to?"

I struggle to remove users because Smartsheet CONSTANTLY errors out when I try to transfer the items they owned to someone else. Fix this please.

Comment from an Email with out having to be shared to a sheet

We would like the "commenter" permission to be just that, commenting without access to even view the sheet. Now if you @ mention someone, in order for them to respond in email they need to be shared to the sheet. We do not what them in the sheet. We just need them to answer a question, or alert them the something and then they have the ability to respond if needed. Trying to get out of email. Request Update is not an option as 80% of the time they don't need to respond. Real simple, reply to the email and it comes back into comments. No need to view the sheet, or even have a Smartsheet account.

Option to disable new menus that appear for left navigation options like Browse and Favorites

The new pop up menus in the left navigation tabs is not really efficient. it would be nice to have the option to turn off that pop up menu to be sent directly to favorites or browse instead of the pop up menu.

Brandfolder - filter by uploader

As an admin, I would like to be able to filter by uploader at the Brandfolder level. This would help tremendously with auditing uploads, providing feedback, and cleaning up metadata tagging.

Alternative to unnecessary browse button change

The "browse" button was recently changed to go through a recent workspaces menu and requiring a second click on "browse all" before actually bringing up the browse menu sidebar. This change is unintuitive as there is a "recents" button right below the browse button and for anyone who regularly uses more than 6 workspaces this change just adds clicks where there should not be. Someone looking for recent workspaces is more likely to click the button that actually says "recents" on it rather than browse as well. It seems that the current "recents" menu only bring up recent grids, reports, and dashboards but not workspaces. To fix this I was thinking the recents menu that pops up could have one section with recent sheets and another section with recent workspaces - this would allow for the recent workspaces insert currently on the browse button to go back away and actually contain recents all within the recents button. The current recents menu is showing easily 15-20 items deep with a scrollbar so there would be plenty of space to implement this change within the recents menu and revert the browse button to its original functionality.

Multi-Project Gantt Chart with 1 Swimlane Per Project

Our program has upwards of 50 active projects at a single time. To assist with team resourcing, we would like to view all our projects in a single Gantt chart where each project and all its phases are condensed into one row, and project phases are horizontally stacked on the same line (swimlane), rather than children in indented rows beneath. We have seen this ability in other apps such as OnePager, which connects to Smartsheet.

Additionally, we would like functionality to visualize projects based on staffing - for instance, Designer A's projects can be shades of blue vs Designer B's projects can be shades of green when a Design filter is on, and Coordinator A's projects can be shades or orange vs Coordinator B's projects can be shades of purple when a Coordinator filter is on.

This would greatly help our team and cross-functional partners be able to assess pipeline and allocate resources and planning accordingly, reducing last minute changes and churn.

Enable full search functionality in Board view

Currently in board view the search function is only returning matches when they're in the primary column - not in any other field. This isn't ideal and I've now been informed this has been designed this way. As board view is to replace card view, surely the basic, comprehensive search functions of card view should be replicated into Board view? Please develop this, as all other workarounds aren't ideal (and as one current one is to use card view, which won't be a possibility once that's gone), it's even less ideal!

Add Centralized Date/Time or Changeable time zone on System generated columns

Please use UTC or a changeable time zone for columns which are system-generated.

I have a sheet where I transform the "Created" column which is in UTC to a date in EST for readability. The discussion user however is in PST. That changes the "Created" column which in turn changes the transformed column.

Normally, this would be okay but I can not run automations on the "Modified" column because every time the "discussion user" views the sheet it changes the row, thus updating the "Modified" column.

Please change the "Discussion User" to UTC OR make the "Discussion User" time zone available to customers so we can change it to the appropriate one.
