Fiscal Year Defect

Hi!

-When I set the start month to February for fiscal year, Smartsheet timeline view shows the current year as FY 2027.

-This is incorrect. Our company's fiscal year begins in February, such that it is FY2026 currently, and first quarter is Feb, Mar, Apr.

-Our year runs February to January. So I want this to show as FY 2026.

Wondering if this can be updated or if I can change it somehow so that I don't confuse executive leaders.

Revert the Workspace Browe Bar

The new browsing function makes it difficult to see and sort through multiple workspaces and sheets at once. Though there is a way to temporarily revert the workspace browse bar, there is not a permanent option. We would like for there to be a permanent option for those who dislike this change to be able to revert their browse bar if needed.

Delete functionality

Bring the delete functionality in automation, this can be helpful if we want to delete a specific row based on certain conditions.

this can also have a timeline based delete option that can be set in the sheet level setting

Allow linked cells to trigger workflows

Just as the title says. It's really frustrating when you want linked cells to trigger a workflow but you can't.

Gantt Chart Auto-Scroll

Idea: Have the option to sync the horizontal scrolling of the gantt chart with the vertical scrolling of the grid sheet.

Conversation and Attachment Indicator at the Sheet Level

Color code or indicate when there is content in Conversations and/or Attachments (Icons) at the Sheet Level. This would eliminate clicking on the icon to see if there is content to view.

Customizable Banner Messaging to Subscribers

It would be great if we could customize the banner displayed within sheets as done by Smartsheet to market new features so that SysAdmins could message to their users without the need to do by emails. Examples: Renewal survey is about to launch, Did you know you can go to our company resource dashboard by doing xxxx, Register for the annual Smartsheet conference using xx code, etc.

Enhancement Request Regarding the support for Windows Hello within our native authentication flow: as this functionality is not currently a native feature of Smartsheet's security architecture, it is classified as a Product Enhancement.

Cancel Update Request Without Deleting It

I'm proposing an added feature to CANCEL an update request without necessarily deleting it, this way we can maintain the history of requests even when they aren't acted upon by the recipient.

Sometimes users elect to update rows in grid view rather than from their emails/notifications, or they'll respond to the 20th update request reminder after ignoring the first 19. In both scenarios, the update request icon remains highlighted and it still shows it as "pending" unless it gets deleted.
