I embedded a Dynamic View on my Dashboard and it is coming through with random highlighting of the cells that is not on the Dynamic View or the source Sheet. Excel has hierarchy visualizations (Create a sunburst chart in Office - Microsoft Support) including the sunburst and treemap options. These type of visuals are very effective at displaying organizational information. Recommending creating these for dashboards in SmartSheets with prioritization to sunburst over treemap.
Have the option to 'File-> Save as Template' in a report or dashboard like you can do with a sheet.
