About Me | I currently lead Talent Acquisition in support of our fiscal year project goals and objectives. My PMO team works across the business verticals to provide guidance and oversight in building project charters, project plans, and reporting mechanisms that contribute to our recruiting strategies and driving execution to meet our annual hiring goals. I’ve been with Chewy now for almost 2 years; I recently just transitioned into a business operations type role to focus on building out a PMO within our Talent Acquisition Organization. I began my recruiting career as an HR Assistant, where I learned my passion for people and helping them to identify that perfect opportunity. From there, I went on to support numerous mid-to-large sized Government integrators, where I’ve spent most of my career recruiting in support of the Department of Defense and National Intelligence Customers, both within the US and overseas. I began my leadership journey back in 2017, where I was promoted to became a Recruiting Manager, overseeing two teams, locally headquartered in VA and MD. Later in 2019, I was approached to join Amazon’s Talent Acquisition Team as a Recruiting Manager and oversaw all cleared recruiting in support of AWS Infrastructure and our National Security Teams. From there, I decided to pivot to come to work at Chewy, where I've had the opportunity to lead TA delivery teams and projects to scale the enterprise. I currently live in Chantilly, VA with my fiancé and our 3 step-children (I pride myself on being the best “bonus mom”!). Due to social distancing the past few years, my fiancé and I have unexpectedly become quite the outdoor enthusiasts and have taken up hobbies such as bike riding, hiking, back-country camping and trekking miles upon miles of the wilderness. When I’m not spending my time outdoors, I enjoy playing cards with the kids, watching movies and listening to live music! I am excited to be part of the Smartsheet Community - I credit much of much personal and professional journey to having outstanding mentors throughout my professional career. Continuously making connections and building my network has helped to guide me when I was feeling lost or needed to feel more empowered, or just needed a friend to consult. I'm greatly looking forward to meeting each and every one of you and learning from you! |
