Linked cell won't show currency format

Hi,

Please see below. Some linked cells are showing currency format while other cells are not.

Current setup:

Source sheet (linked from)- numbers are all set to currency format with column properties set to "text/number"

This current sheet (linked to) - all columns proporties are set to "Date" with "restricted to dates only" turned OFF.

I tried to format the current sheet numbers to currency but nothing happened.

Please advise on how to format the current sheet numbers to currency.

If you have them being pulled into a date type column, they are being stored as text values.
