How to retrieve previous comments?

Hi All,

I’d like to ask if there’s another way to retrieve comments per row.I tried downloading the activity log, but it doesn’t indicate which row each comment was added to.

Background: In our project intake form, I’m trying to collect all comments—both previous and latest—and filter them by week and month.

First, add the Latest Comments column.

Then, create a workflow automation to copy rows to another sheet when the latest comments column value changes.

In the sheet that we copied rows from, Comment History, in this example, we can add the [Created] system column and those helper columns to display Month, Week number, and Commented by.

[Commented by] =LEFT([Latest Comment]@row, FIND(" - ", [Latest Comment]@row) - 1)

[Created]

[Month] =MONTH(Created@row)

[Week #] =WEEKNUMBER(Created@row)

With those, we can create a report filtering by Month, Week #, and Commented by.
