Automation inserts random apostrophe

Hi.

I have an automation that defaults a text/number value to 1 when a relevant question is left unanswered on a form. Multiple other columns reference this value to make a calculation.

Smartsheet randomly, and only occasionally, inserts an apostrophe before the 1 (i.e., '1), which breaks the formulas that reference the cell. Is this a known bug? As far as I can tell, it has nothing to do with how I've set things up.

Hi, I discovered this same problem recently with my automations that are set to change the cell value to a number. I'm not sure if what helped correct my issue will help you the same way because my issues have been around currency formatting, but my issue resolved when I made "change cell value to 1" to "change cell value to 1.00". Doing this made the automation come in without an apostrophe.

I hope Smartsheet is able to figure out what is causing this issue. My automations all worked fine until earlier this month or so.
