I’m really frustrated with this issue and disappointed that support asked me to come here instead of solving it directly. Even if I’m on the lowest subscription tier, it’s unacceptable that a problem as basic as not being able to open any sheets, reports, or dashboards is not handled by Smartsheet support. This isn’t an extra feature request — it’s the platform itself not working, while I’m paying for it.
Here are the details:
- Smartsheet was working fine before on this same laptop and same network.
- On the mobile app, everything works fine.
- On my laptop (Windows 10/11), both Chrome and Edge give me the same error message whenever I try to open a sheet, report, or dashboard.
- I already tried every troubleshooting step support suggested:
- Cleared cache/cookies & browsing history
- Tested in Incognito/InPrivate
- Tried multiple browsers (Chrome/Edge)
- Created new browser profiles
- Flushed DNS
- Disabled antivirus/firewall
- Verified my network (no restrictions, same network works for mobile app)
- Despite all of this, the problem remains: nothing opens in the browser.
Honestly, I don’t think it’s reasonable to push a paying customer to a community forum for something this fundamental. If Smartsheet itself doesn’t open, this is a platform/system issue that should be solved directly by support.
Has anyone else experienced this exact issue? If so, how did you fix it?
