Can we have a prettier way to search Smartsheet data and change filters dynamically in a dashboard?

@Jerry Melichar since you mentioned "Web-based API" in your title, I assume you are open to moving away from the Smartsheet Dashboard?

If so, there are some options I can think of, off the top of my head:

1. Use a data visualization tool like Tableau or Power BI with a filterable dashboard view (Need to have these tools)
2. Use the 3rd party tool, Appsheet, to pull in data from Smartsheet into a dashboard that you can filter. (very little dev time, monthly cost per user)
3. Create a custom web app in Google Scripts App or any web hosted location to view and show the Smartsheet data any way you please (more dev time)
