Show both inbound and outbound links

Annotation
Often when doing a delay analysis or some other schedule work, we need to annotate the Gantt chart to highlight certain areas, add notes etc to give the data more impact. Currently this has to be done in another program like PDF, can Smartsheet make such an option available?

Vertical line in Gantt - Data Date
It would be great if there was a way to add a drop line on the Gantt view i.e a vertical line that communicates important information like the data date i.e the date the schedule was updated These visual tools are important for consultants when trying to communicate data to clients etc
