Struggling to Manage Project Timelines on Smartsheet

Hello Smartsheet Community!

I’ve been working on managing some complex project timelines using Smartsheet, but I’m running into a bit of a challenge when I’m trying to balance both work and play. Every time I play GTA San Andreas in the background while updating my project sheets on Smartsheet, I notice that the app sometimes lags, especially when I try to adjust multiple timelines or dependencies.

It seems like both applications (Smartsheet and GTA) are consuming a lot of system resources, and I'm finding it hard to multitask efficiently. I don’t want to sacrifice my game time, but I also need Smartsheet to run smoothly for work.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a way to optimize Smartsheet’s performance while running other resource-intensive applications like GTA San Andreas? Any tips or best practices for keeping both running smoothly?

I am working in Smartsheet since 2019 and I have not seen any lagging when updating project schedules.

Could it be the Browser you are using? Have you considered using the Smartsheet App.
