Automations to move rows to another sheet is moving more than requested

Hello Smartsheet Community,

I have created an automation to move rows over to another sheet when a certain phase and date are triggered. This automation is currently moving over those rows, but other rows in addition to the ones it is requesting. These other rows shouldn't be moved at all as the phase is not listed as one of the triggers. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix this?

@Rachel Limor This usually happens if the trigger conditions in your automation are too broad or if you’re using an OR condition instead of AND. Double-check that,

The column condition exactly matches the values you want (watch for extra spaces or different spellings).
The date condition is set as AND with the phase, not as a separate OR condition.
If you’re using multiple criteria, all the ranges/fields are included consistently.

A quick test is to temporarily change the action from move rows to alert , that way you can see exactly which rows Smartsheet thinks match the rule before moving them.

The date conditions were already set to the AND.

When the rows are pulled into the other sheet, it also carries forward other rows where the phase is not dropped or closed. Basicaslly, any rows someone has touched that day, it is getting moved. If you have other suggestions, let me know. Below is a screen shot of what my automation criteria looks like.

I am going to run the automation again tomorrow and see what happens.
