Backups Not Extracting

I'm trying to extract my Smartsheet backups, and I'm running into errors. It looks like all of the files that were extracted on or before 8/18 are fine, but the ones I have starting 8/25 aren't working. A couple of my coworkers are trying to redownload things on their end (different workspaces), and we're all getting similar errors (using different makes/models of computers to try to rule out hardware issues).

Were there any changes to the Smartsheet backups on the software side, or is anyone else having any problems with backups since on or about August 25?

Hi @S.Stone,

It’s possible that the amount or complexity of items within the workspace could be triggering an error when attempting to download the backup. However, this shouldn't stop you from being able to download backups, it can just sometimes trigger errors.

I’d recommend contacting our Support team if you’re still experiencing issues, since there may be other causes for the errors - this is sometimes caused by a certain sheet within the workspace, for example - and the team will be able to investigate on the backend.

Thanks, Georgie! It's affecting 6+ workspaces across multiple teams, and it is affecting every downloaded workspace since 8/25. I'll open up a ticket to see if we can sort out what's going on.
