Just discovered work insights as I was developing a dashboard that displays volumes and status of data report requests we intake via a SmartSheet form. The Time Series work insight widget is exactly what I am trying to create in the dashboard that is plug and play. I love that you switch between months, weeks and days. None of that is possible in the dashboard. Real time filtering in the insights is also a huge functionality advantage over the dashboard. Please make the insights widgets available in dashboards. Thank you!

When links are broken on sheets, we want to be notified and to be able to create report on all sheets in Workspace, so we can fix all broken cell links ASAP. Each team has different schedule sheets and we use cell link from one schedule to another and we depend on the dates on the schedule. Currently there is no notification or report we can create when cell link breaks. :😢

We use control center and have over 200 projects are provisioned at same time - catching broken cell link in time is very critical.

It will help all our reporting and task schedule to be more accurate because when cell link breaks, it'll affect other teams schedules.

I use these dynamic hyperlinks a lot for prefilling fields in Smartsheet forms: For example: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/a8317341b2f04d84ad813bc75c6be71d?Column2=BLABLABLA

I agree this does look not very userfriendly in a smartsheet sheet or in a Alert Notification (mail or within Smartsheet itself)

Can I add another suggestion with this one besides the suggested Hyperlink-function, to make it even more userfriendly? Why not make a button for this, filling the complete cell, which also colors according to Conditional formating:

Something with a familiar syntax such as...

= HYPERLINK( Link_URL, [Display_Label], [Format])

Where Format can be:

• Text
• Button

I know there are some challenges to accomplish this technically, but does give the user a real call-to-action experience in my opinion.

It would be nice to have the ability to adjust the line spacing for Rich Text widgets. This will help with spacing and the overall visual effect of the dashboard

Hello Smartsheet Team,

A suggestion for functionality to external users of SS! In the Document Builder, 'Generate Documents' process, it would be helpful to allow for downloads other than the pdf out, such as MS Word docx. Providing my team with the ability to download a document, after it has been set up with fillable fields in a pdf., would be really helpful for editing purposes.

Please add column descriptions that are available in reports so my team can see the expectations of the columns without having to refer back to the original sheet. Some sheets can have a lot of columns and it can be very time consuming for someone to search out a column in the original to see the description.

I've been making myself crazy trying to find a way to add Work Insights to a dashboard. The Work Insights are displaying exactly what I am trying to display - charts showing results from a survey with drop-down text answers. I honestly can't find a way to reproduce them.

I second this request. A widget to add a work insight graph/chart would save a lot of steps. I currently have to re-create the information in a report/

Please add a "Recycle bin" type feature to Smartsheet's Connector to allow for deleted and disabled connectors to be easily recovered!

Received an emailed alert on Saturday that a connector workflow (in the Smartsheet + Salesforce Connector) had been disabled due to a Salesforce user credential expiring.

Despite regenerating credentials and logging in to both Salesforce and Smartsheet as directed, the workflow disappeared from Smartsheet and could not be recovered.

Interdepartmental updates were disrupted by the loss of this automatic bi-directional connector, and the only current remedy is to rebuild it from scratch- causing further delays. This should be a simple fix- create accessible "Recycle Bins" from which deleted and disabled connectors can be restored as needed.
