Dynamic View for Approval

Hi,

My intake form has a variety of requests and I am using Dynamic View to show only the relevant fields for the request type. The approvers will be using a Dynamic View to select an approval status of approve, deny, or needs revision. I am having trouble figuring out the automations when it gets denied or needs revision.

Also, some requests will require multi-level approving and I'm not sure how to set that up as well. Would I have fields such as Approver 1, Approver 2, Approver 3, etc. with corresponding status fields such as Approval Status 1, Approval Status 2, Approval Status 3, etc.? Then when it gets Approval Status 1 is approved, an automation can be run to change approval status 2 to pending?

Yes, that's a common setup. Use separate Approver and Approval Status columns for each approval level. Then create automations so that when Approval Status 1 = Approved, Approver 2 is notified and Approval Status 2 changes to Pending.

For Denied or Needs Revision, you can trigger an update request back to the requester and stop the approval process.
