I am trying to figure out if there is a way to send an alert when a new sheet is created in a workspace. I am not seeing anyway to do this.
Anyone have any ideas?

Add my vote too, plus another similar alert function similar to SharePoint lists (schedule a daily, weekly or monthly digest of a sheet showing all changes since the previous one.
