How do I prevent a user sort and expanding tasks in a sheet effecting other users also working on same sheet?
Users that have been given Editor or Admin rights to a sheet, will be able to edit the sheet and save their changes - including sorting rows and expanding hierarchies. You could use reports to provide users with a view of the data that they can sort, filter, etc without affecting the source sheet(s). The user will still need to have access to the source sheets but the report will give them a space to manipulate the data structure without affect other users view.
