Is it possible to have an email sent to a smartsheet. I want to use smartsheet for helpdesk, however it would be nice if users could send to an email account sometimes besides updating a webform.

There isn't currently a way to send an email directly to your sheet in Smartsheet but I've got your vote for this on our enhancement request list for further consideration.
With that being said, if you have an Outlook.com or Office 365 for Business email address, you might be able to use our Smartsheet for Outlook Add-In: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/1960482-smartsheet-app-for-outlook
