Field Labels in Card View?
Hello Smartsheet Community!
I have just started working with Card View, and I was wondering if it is possible to have Field names display in the Cards as a label, in addition to the actual content of the cells?
So for example - if I have multiple Fields display on the cards that have similar content (Ex: Yes/No, Dates, Numbers, etc), it would be difficult for anyone else looking at them to understand what they were in reference to:
- 6/15/2017
- 6/30/2017
- No
- Yes
Is there a way to also have the Field names displayed?
Thanks so much!
Kate

It doesn't appear so, but this post: https://community.smartsheet.com/discussion/card-view-show-column-name-labelhttps://community.smartsheet.com/discussion/card-view-show-column-name-label has some interesting ideas by concatenation the Date field with text using the formula ="Field Name: " + [column]1.
If you put that formula in an additional column it will merge the label with the data and you should be able to pull that into your card view. -
Have you noticed that the field name appears when your mouse flies over the data?

That's an interesting workaround - thanks for finding this, Mike!

I hadn't noticed it does that! This is super helpful - thanks so much, Charles!!
