Replace values within all cells in a sheet

Hello. We are using smartsheet to create time cards. I am looking for a way to possibly run an automation where is searches every cell within the sheet and finds lets say "John Johnson" and replaces it with "Jane Doe" as I need to make timecards for each employee.

Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated.

You could use the Find / Replace with feature. CMD+F, CTRL+F.

Andree thank you for the info. However, the names are contained within formulas within the cells. I have tried using this function but it does not search within the formulas.

Aha!

Do you have access to Control Center?

If not, you could update the formulas, so they reference a sheet summary field, so it would be simple to update them in the future.

Would that work?

I do not have access to Control Center. Is there not a way to run an automation to search the formulas for "A" and replace with "B" ?
