column symbol to change given certain criteria in a helper column AND if an attachment is not attach
Hello Smartsheet Community!
I want my column symbol to change given certain criteria in a helper column AND if an attachment is not attached to the row.
Example:
For projects valued at greater than 250k Euro, I want my user to attach a project plan to the row in the sheet. I was hoping to have a "symbol" column that would change to 'Yes' if they have attached the plan and 'No' if they have not attached the plan but still need to do so given their project is greater than 250k Euro.

You can use an automation to let your sheet know when an attachment is added to the sheet and do something like recording a date or checking a box. You could set that up and then write a formula that determines an attachment is NOT attached by the box not being checked.
