Control Center & Creating Projects Error

Hi Community,

I have Control Center setup to create my projects. I recently tried to create a project with Control Center and got an error - "Fail to update cell links to reporting sheet 'EPMO PROJECTS PORTFOLIO SUMMARY'. An unexpected error occurred (4000).

Is anyone else getting this error? Nothing has changed in my Control Center profile settings.

Hi @jcalavritinos, I haven't heard of any recent issues with our SCC blueprint, but we have run into issues in the past when our intake/summary sheet became too large or had too many cross-sheet references. We have found that even if you aren't exceeding established limits, you can still run into functional issues with large, complicated sheets.

Hi @Julie Fortney, my intake summary sheet only has 30 records in it. I'm really stuck. I've kicked it up to Tier 3 support but they are not giving me any answers.

@jcalavritinos We have reached out to our CSM in the past when we're in a bind like this, and he has been able to push support for answers. Maybe try reaching out to your CSM.

You are not alone. We had the same issue on 2 projects that we spun up in October. I've been waiting on support help to resolve along with pushing from our account rep... Also currently with Tier 3 and waiting on a response...

@jcalavritinos - curious if you had any resolution with Support? Sorry to say all I got was sorry we can't help, and you'll have to redo it/recopy anything that is missing. Zero help.

Smartsheet never fixed the issue but my Smartsheet consultant did. It turns out that on the Control Center permissions & sharing page I had a group in there. He took it out and it worked. Go figure. Please see attachment below.

Unfortunately, the Smartsheet folks were unable to support me.
