Workflow - Update Request email invalid

What is needed to allow the following email address to be used for an Update Request workflow? The email address is a shared email within our organization but does not seem to work when used for the Update Request. Alerts are able to be sent to this email but and Update Request returns an error. Any guidance is appreciated.

Somebody who receives emails via that email has clicked to unsubscribe from that alert.
Either remove, save, and then re-add and save the email address.
or, if that doesn't work...
Recreate the automation, and delete the existing one.
