i want to check a box column2 if either column3 or 4 have certain txt

In that case you would use something more along the lines of:

=IF(OR([Column3]@row = "TTV", [Column4]@row = "TTV", [Column3]@row = "TTP", [Column4]@row = "TTP"), 1)

Thanks Andree worked like a charm now i would like to step it up a level how can i do the same/ similar thing if columns 3 & 4 have two options TTP or TTV either of these and either of these two combinations in either of the columns check the box?

Thanks Paul yes this would work however the cells will not be empty and will have other values that i don't want to check the C2 box's. I've provided a better example below.
