Percentage Formula based on Stage

Hello, I have a process that is 11 stages long (stage 1, stage 2, ...) and I want to write a formula for percent complete based on the current stage. Each stage will be equal in percent value. There will be many clients items going through this process, 1 line per client. There will be a column with the clients name, then one with the stage (a dropdown list of 11 options) and then a % complete column.

Any idea what my formula will be for the % complete column?

The only way I've thought of it is doing 11 different automations, where when a status changes then I changes the value of the percent complete column to the next % value.

Try something like this. (and continue the pattern)

=IF(Stage@row = "Stage 1", 0.1, IF(Stage@row = "Stage 2", 0.2))
