Dynamic View Attachments

Would like to be able to include attachments (add/view) in Dynamic View.

I found an answer online late yesterday - I didn't realise the entry had to be saved before the attachments tab would become visible. Thanks for responding.

This is already possible! 🙂

In the View Display tab, make sure that "Attachments" has the two checkboxes checked. That way an Attachment tab will show up in the Panel!

Thank you! I don't know what I was looking at yesterday when I was trying to find that but I didn't see it.

I also searched the help files and couldn't find it (dynamic view attach); I think they may need to be updated.

Hi @Genevieve P. , I have a DV set up and I ticked both boxes for allowing attachments but the attachments tab isn't showing in my data entry view.

Any suggestion on how I can fix this would be appreciated.

Are you still seeing the same thing today after fully logging out and then logging in again? If so, please capture a screen recording of this and contact Support with the source file URL.

Is there a way to an onscreen indication that an attachment is attached to that row in Dynamic View (without adding an icon column and associated rules)? Looking for something similar to the paperclip grids.

Dynamic View indicates if an attachment is on the row using the panel on the right for an individual row. There currently isn't an "attachment column" that you can display in the view.

Your idea of having a column in the sheet, with a workflow adding an emoji or icon into the cell when an attachment is added, is a really good one!
