DEPENDENCIES FORMULA IN TO A PROJET SHEET

HELLO;

I HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM:

I NEED TO SCRATCH A FORMULA TO GENERATE DEPENDENCIES AUTOMATICALLY IN A PROJECT SHEET WITH THOUSANDS OF ROWS.

EACH ROW CORRESPONDS TO A TASK REPEATED RANDOMLY. AND MY PROJECT HAS MORE THAN 70 DIFFERENT TASKS, SO IT IS VERY LABORIOUS TO ASSIGN DEPENDENCIES USING FILTERS BY TASK.

question: task repeated randomly?

I had a similar problem as one time, I believe. 

Each project has a set structure of 5-10 tasks, all linked together, with modules of a fixed number that was determined on contract award. Depending on decisions made at project launch, the order was determined. Based on that info, the project was created using a script (outside of Smartsheet) and implemented in Smartsheet in less than an hour.

It took a few days to design, implement, and test the script, but it worked and saved dozens of hours on each new project.

Well worth the cost.
