INDEX function not displaying a list of cells in a sheet summary

I'd like to automate a metric by using a simple INDEX formula in a sheet summary but no matter what I change, it results in an INCORRECT ARGUMENT SET. My function is =INDEX([Assisting Carrier]1).I just simply want to display what is listed in a cell onto my sheet summary.

I don't think you need to use INDEX there. Just referencing the cell using

=[Assisting Carrier]1

will do the trick.
