Salesforce and Smartsheet Integration

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knew how to give access to others to integrate into Salesforce. My admin needs to grant me access but does not know where or how to do so. Can anyone offer any insight? Thank you!

Hi @ashleyr21 - this article (https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/2476131-salesforce-workflows) goes through what permission levels you need to have to create a connection with Salesforce. I'm rewriting the articles as well so when the updates get posted they should have some additional helpful information!

@Danielle Wilson Hi. I'm a Salesforce admin. I'm just getting started with using Smarsheet. There will be a new project coming up soon to import Forms data into Salesforce. I need to set something up first, a dummy form, and then go thru the steps of connecting to Salesforce. During the connection step, is there a choice to connect to a Salesforce test instance (called a 'sandbox'). Thank you!

Hi @Gustavo Seluja - yes! If you have access to the Smartsheet Salesforce Connector you can create one connection a Salesforce instance and one connection to a sandbox.

@Danielle Wilson great. Yeah, I just read it in the documentation 😎 ("Can the connector support more than one Salesforce organization?"). Do you know of any training available here?
