Control Center Rename Project Link

Hello

By chance does anyone know how I can change the name of the project link for projects that have already been provisioned in control center?

I also need to have the link launch to a different dashboard. I updated the blueprint under Source template settings, I selected Launch for the dashboard I want the project link to open up. I then go in control center and update project reporting, but it still keeps launching to the old/original dashboard.

Any ideas on how I can fix either of these issues?

Thanks

Hi @Lori Khoury. I don't know of a way to update this globally for existing projects. It's a good idea though, so I'm following this post. You might want to submit it as a feature update.

    Hi @Lori Khoury,

Global Updates allows you to update project data and cascade it through to existing projects provisioned via Control Center. However, at the moment, there isn't a specific one that can achieve what you propose and I suggest that, when you have a moment, please submit your feature request to the Product team by signing in to the online Community (the Community uses your Smartsheet account to sign in) and create an Idea post in the Smartsheet Product Feedback and Ideas topic

Posting your enhancement in the Community will allow other Smartsheet users to see and vote on your idea! The top-voted posts in this category are reviewed monthly by the Product team and you'll receive an email notification if a status changes for a post you've created or voted on.

    Cheers!

Thank you @Julio S. I will def do that. By chance do you know if there is a way that I that I can update the Project link once a tool kit is created to open to a different dashboard?

    Hi @Lori Khoury,

Control Center includes functionality to insert the Project link in your intake sheet and map this with your Column of choice, however, it won't let you decide what where the Project Link leads to (see "Project Link (Optional)" here for more information). This could be another good Idea Post to publish.

    Cheers

Thank you Julio. I was able to add the project link in the intake and I was even able to change what page the project link would open for newlY

provisioned projects but the issue I have is still updated retro for projects previously provisioned. It still launches the old dashboard.

@Lori Khoury I'm running into a similar problem - the Project Link in my intake sheet is linking to a report, rather than to the Dashboard we want it to link to. How did you go about changing what page the project link opens to for new projects?
