Cross-Sheet Reference Limit Has Been Hit
Hello,
I have hit the 100 cross-sheet limit. Up until this point (before releasing there was a limit), I was referencing the same sheet, but by month in a SUMIFS formula. Ive provided some examples below. Is there a way to reference the entire Jan-Dec year, but only sum the specific month you want to sum numbers? Each month is in a different column.
=SUMIFS({CA - PPM Jan 23}, {CA - PPM Department}, Department@row, {CA - PPM Project ID}, [Project ID]@row)
=SUMIFS({CA - PPM Feb 23}, {CA - PPM Department}, Department@row, {CA - PPM Project ID}, [Project ID]@row)
=SUMIFS({CA - PPM Mar 23}, {CA - PPM Department}, Department@row, {CA - PPM Project ID}, [Project ID]@row)
Thank you!

That was supposed to read, "before realizing there was a limit"

Hi @mkilroy
I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

That's a shame there is no work-around for this problem, but thank you for taking a look. I have submitted the idea under "Cross-Sheet Reference Enhancement."

You're more than welcome!
Yes, but great that you've submitted the enhancement request.

Hi, Andree. Do you think there is a way to use SUMIFS and INDEX MATCH formulas for this?
-
I think I found a solution!
=SUMIFS((INDEX({CA - CDx Dev Timeline}, 0, 1)), {CA - CDx Dev Department}, Department@row, {CA - CDx Dev Project ID}, [Project ID]@row)
Where {CA - CDx Dev Timeline} is the full range of cells (Jan to Dec), so I just need to update which column in the range I want to sum.
