Hi to all,

as this is very new to me, maybe kind of a silly questions. Research didn't bring what I wanted.

I think I want a very simple thing :) Just create a report or Excel or whatever of all conversation comments of rows and the whole sheet. And additionally all "latest comments" of rows and the whole sheet.

Any advice how to do that? Is this even possible?

Thanks,

Mrakus

    Hi @leiti373

I hope you're well and safe!

You can export the sheet to Excel or similar.

    Did that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

  • Hello Andrée,

thanks - all good. Hope the same for you :)

Yes, export is a partial solution in terms of getting latest comments etc.

I'd like to limit the data being exported so I thought of creating a report. And this reports should colelct all comments in rows and/or sheet.

  • Hey there,

    any hints on this?

How do I get a report on the discussions per line/task in a sheet?

    Thanks,

    Hi @leiti373

You could reduce the report down to just the primary column and then export it to excel. On the 2nd tab, all the comments will be there with the row numbers they go with. I think the 2nd tab on the exported excel file is what you are looking for.

    I hope that helps.

Hello Have you tried creating a new column and using the "Latest Comment" Column type. Once that is in place you can create a report and pull in that column. Exporting into excel will also work giving you a separate tab for all the row comments.

    Hello @Ken Armstrong ,

sorry I was offline a couple of days.

Yes that basically works, thanks. The thing is, that instead of the line numbers where the comment belongs to, I'd need the name of the task. So I'm able to filter/sort/cluster in Excel. Just line numbers and comments unfortunately is not enough.

Any formula or so, where I can assign line number and task name?

    Thanks a lot,

    Markus

    @leiti373

You can set up the report to include the necessary columns and then export it to Excel from the report instead.

    Would that work?
