Column formulas
Can I exclude one cell from a column formula?
Best Answer

No. Column formulas are applied to the entire column. If you want to exclude a cell, you can convert it to a column formula to get it on every row quickly, convert it back to a cell formula, then remove it from that one cell.

Hi Paul,
I was wondering could you help me. I have the table below created on a dashboard.
Total Projects and % COTIF are calculating correctly.
COTIF Projects should be looking into my summary sheet and counting only the projects identified in a column as On Track. I cannot work it out.
Your help would be much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Linda Fallon

@Linda Fallon How exactly are you currently generating the counts?
-
I am manually entering the figures for the count currently.

I do have a similar table as shown below which is the RISK table and this is working.
I have clicked into the COTIF table, and it brings me into the table below. This is where I have manually entered the volumes in the COTIF Projects. This is where the calculation is missing.
When I look at the risk table, which does have the calculations that work goes into the cells below. I hope this helps you to help me.

You are going to need a COUNTIFS.
