How can I alter multiple date cells by changing one date?
I'm trying to create a project management sheet for a recurring project. I want to be able to put in the date the project is due, and have other cells auto-populate to a date 1 week prior, 2 weeks prior, etc. I can't figure out how to do it. I'm a fairly new user, so it may be something simple that I cant find. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Jeff_01,
I believe what you're talking about implementing is called a WBS (work breakdown structure).
Here you can learn all about Smartsheet WBS.
Best of luck!

This is only along with heavy use of predecessors.

Thanks Ray! But my question was actually simpler than that. I finally found it, and I could kick myself! I literally just tell Smartsheet to add or subtract a value from the given date cell, and it generates a new date before/after according to the math. If the column is formatted for dates.
In my case, I put the date of the main project in the cell [Due Date]1. To generate a due date 8 days before, I used =[Due Date]1 - 8.
