I have 2 account. In one account, within a cell, to go to the next line I have to click ALT-Enter, similar to Excel.
In the other account, I only have to hit Enter as in any other text editor in the world.
Is there a way to control that feature??
I just tested it in a few of my other accounts and can't replicate. I would suggest keeping quiet in case they decide to "fix the bug". Haha.
I have used more than 2 dozen accounts in the past 2 years, and I have never seen it where you can just hit Enter to create a line break within a cell. This is in both the .com and .eu instances of Smartsheet (can't speak to gov).
I hear that. Just started seeing it this morning and came as a surprise to me - a pleasant surprise as text editing in SmartSheet is pitiful.
LOL - that was my first instinct. But I was hoping there was a button I missed that allowed the upgrade.
OMG - I also found that once I edited a cell - Control-Z would not undo the edit.
I decided that a refresh and or reset might not be enough, so I shut it down and opened it, and it's back to the way it was - which isn't the way it should be.
