Create a dashboard to display a count of multiple cell entries

I am struggling (absolutely newbie) to create a dashboard that will count all the individual certifications, and all the professional certifications and all the in progress certifications - attached is a screenshot - can anyone help?

You don't HAVE to, but I generally create a dedicated metrics sheet mainly because I have a lot of separate calculations I want to run and display (typically).

Are you able to provide more details? Are you wanting counts by person, or just totals for the entire sheet?

Hi Paul, apologies for the slow response and thanks for engaging - I would like a count for the full sheet, but in 3 charts - 1st being Certifications, 2nd being Professional Certifications and the 3rd being In Progress

In that case you will want a COUNTM function.

=COUNTM([Column Name]:[Column Name])
