We are very excited to announce a set of dashboard editing enhancements that will allow you to create visually stunning and optimized dashboards even faster.

Drag and drop an image onto a dashboard - When adding images to your dashboard, you can drag an image from your file system onto the canvas, providing an even quicker way to add images to your dashboard.

Widget sizing and alignment indicators - When moving widgets around the canvas and changing their size, you'll see horizontal and vertical alignment indicators and widget sizing guides. These indicators and guides will help ensure precise alignment and sizing, resulting in a cohesive and well-organized layout for all your dashboard content.

These features are available for Trial, Pro, Business and Enterprise plans.

You can also stay informed by subscribing to receive product release updates for curated news of recently released product capabilities and enhancements for your chosen platform. As new releases occur, you will receive a daily email (Monday-Friday) with news of what's released.

I am very excited about this updated! I have started using it, however there are some issue with the functionality. The alignment lines do not always show up and sometimes they freezes on the screen and require a hard refresh to resolve.

@Jason DelValle quick question, are there supposed to be lines in relation to the actual dashboard canvas so you can tell when a widget is centered on the page?

Hi @Samuel Mueller, thank you for the feedback. At the moment the alignment indicators fire in relation to other widgets. We do have plans to have centered to canvas (vertical) line in the near future. You will be able to achieve a vertical centered line on your dashboard today if you have a widget on the dashboard that is already centered (or just extended horizontally across the entire dashboard) and then you try to center another widget above or below it.

Thank you for the reply @Barak Schriger. I'll try that method but I'm looking forward to the future enhancement! can't tell you how many times I've tried to count boxes on both sides of a widget to tell if it's actually centered 😅
