Edit workflows

Hi
I have 2 idea's:
1) We are not able to edit workflows under the tab 'My Organization'. We only can pause, see activity log and archive. There's no edit. Can there be an edit button to edit workflows?
2) If we have our edit rules to edit our own workflows in 'My Organization', we should also be able to edit the workflows of an employee who's not working for us anymore (or any employee really). This will come in very handy at some point!
Curious to know your thoughts! The team & I will find this very helpful.
