How do I delete any and all alerts and reminders from being sent on a whole smartsheet?

email messages are being sent for some of the rows/tasks on a project smartsheet. I click on the row and select Automation / Manage Workflows but there are no workflows, yet emails are being generated to the people assigned the task/row.

  • To delete all alerts and reminders from being sent on a whole Smartsheet, you can follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your Smartsheet account.

    2. Go to the sheet that you want to disable alerts and reminders for.

    3. Click on the "Home" tab at the top left corner of the Smartsheet interface to go back to the dashboard.

    4. In the left sidebar, click on "Alerts & Actions." This will open the Alerts & Actions settings for your Smartsheet account.

    5. Under the "Alerts & Actions" section, click on "Sheet-level Alerts" or "Workspace-level Alerts," depending on where you want to disable alerts.

    6. Look through the list of existing alerts and reminders to confirm which ones you want to delete.

    7. To delete an individual alert or reminder, click the three-dot menu (ellipsis) next to the specific alert, and then select "Delete."

    8. If you want to delete all alerts and reminders for the entire sheet or workspace, there might be a "Delete All" or "Remove All" option available. Click on it to remove all alerts and reminders.

    9. After deleting the alerts and reminders, make sure to save the changes.

By following these steps, you should have successfully deleted any and all alerts and reminders from being sent on the selected Smartsheet. Please note that if you have multiple sheets or workspaces with alerts, you'll need to repeat these steps for each one separately.

@John Saleh Are you able to provide some screenshots? I don't have an "Alerts & Actions" button anywhere on the home tab. The only place I am able to access automations is through the "Automations" button in the top left corer of each individual sheet.

Thanks, Paul Newcome, for nicely summing up what I also found. I hope someone else in the community can suggest a solution.
