Not sure what formula to use to get 1 description name with the average MM per Piece
I have a sheet with a column named Description and another column named MM per Piece. There are multiple items in the Description column and I need to obtain the average MM per Piece based on the entries for each item.
Any assistance is appreciated.

Hello @Pamela.Baron,
for MM average, can do it two ways. I recommend using sheet summary field and inputting the formula:
=AVG([MM per Piece]:[MM per Piece])
alternatively, you can create a report and and use Summary the average of the column

I am hoping for something like
Description MM per Piece
Black Diamond Arm Chair 0.70814
Black Diamond Side Chair 0.93382
etc, The first option you suggested provides the overall average for all pieces which is not what I am wanting. The second item I can't get the Description to show up in line with the averages. I get
