Date & Time
Hello-
How do I add the date and time from start of task to end of task from this form?
I need to measure the date and time from start to finish. I'm using the FORM. Thanks.

You can add Date columns in your sheet that can then be surfaced in a Form, however Smartsheet does not have a specific Time column or time functionality.
You may want to check out Paul's post that goes through different formula combinations to calculate time:
You could add Text/Number columns to your sheet to ask the user to record time in a specific format that would work with the formulas above.
Cheers,
Genevieve

When will the time column be available in SmartSheets?

Will the date/time column type ever be fixed to include the time? At the moment it is date only. This is one area where Smartsheet falls short of MS Project for managing projects.

First, create a 'Created Date' column. Then, create a 'Number/Text' column and use the following formula to extract the time:
="" + RIGHT([Created Date]@row, 8)
This formula will extract the time portion from the 'Created Date' column."
Hope this helps.
