Hello, I was wondering what the best prorate function would be if I only had the effective date and amount?

I agree that it would be useful to know more about what you're looking to do. If you could provide a screen capture but block out sensitive data that would be very helpful!

You could use the TODAY() function as the End Date if you needed a rolling date: TODAY Function
