How to extract monthly cost totals from a Gantt format?

Options

I'm trying to do two things;

  1. Create a dynamic cost plan where I can schedule costs on a Gantt format, ideally being able to drag cost items around rather than inputting specific dates.
  2. Create a sheet that totals the cost for each month from the cost plan.

I've been searching through COUNTIF guidance but i'm struggling to get started. Any pointers would be appreciated.

    Hi @bacon_jam If you are trying to get cost totals, I guess a SUMIF or SUMIFS formula would be better suited than a COUNTIF. Try the formula for the desired range and let me know if this works.
