How do I create a report to show committed capacity on our production?

We currently have a Ghantt chart our project managers book project into production, very simple just start day and end day, i would like to be able to add production time that then i can run a report showing the booked hours of production per day, if each job was just booked for one day it would be easy with a sumif function however when a job is booked for across 2+ days the production time needs to be split even per day then some how sum each day... is this possible within smartsheet?

@Brendon Huh? Can you give some examples? Like what are you looking for? Create a "fake" sheet to show what you want it to show.
