Splitting form inputs into separate task lines

Hello, I am wondering if smartsheet has the functionality to split a form input into multiple lines. For example, I have a multi-select column with Items A, B, C,. I select A, B, C in the form and submit. Once I submit, is there an automation that turns that form input into multiple separate lines in my project? So it would display as:

A

B

C

How many tasks do you have?

Do you need it all on one sheet?

the multiselect column we have has about 20 possible items. each item has 3 sub-tasks that ideally would be built out, but getting it to break out in separate lines would be a good first step. and yes, we'd like it to be populated in 1 sheet.

There maybe ways to accomplish your goal here but would require a little more then makes sense for this forum.

Could involve, using the API or Control Center etc.

It's possible, but it's pretty advanced.

I recently developed something similar for a client.

• It creates a selectable number of assignment rows with specific details from a defined start date. Consultants use this to report their work hours and more on a row per date.

What data would need to be included on each row?
