Dashboard Question

What is the best option for showing a list of "Highlights", "Lowlights", "Risks" and "Issues" on a dashboard report? In other words, it's commentary about the project.

I'm going down the path of creating a sheet with the updates that I'd like to publish to the dashboard. From there, I've created a report that pulls the updates so I can embed the report on the dashboard. This is soo clunky. Are there better options?

    Hi darrink

That's how it is done in Smartsheet, although the "I'd like to publish" indicates that you might be manually pulling the data into the new sheet. Look for a way to automate or simplify that bit of the process.

As you might have guessed already, you can end up with a lot of bits and pieces in Smartsheet. So it's a good idea to be very structured and organised. Create separate workspaces for different components of work, use folders to keep the workspace neat and tidy, and use well thought out naming conventions.
