Changed Dropdown List Column Property from Multi-Select to Single Select

I had a Smartsheet column that was originally a multi-select dropdown. I changed it to single select so I could better report on the data. I created a metrics sheet using this column, but it isn't totaling some of the dropdown choices. In the Smartsheet I get the message, "85 cells in 'Location' column have values that aren't dropdown values. I've gone through all of the rows to make sure they only have one dropdown selection. The strange thing is I created a report, and it is accurately capturing the data from each "Location". I also created a metrics sheet using the formula: =SUMIFS({Project-Hours}, {Project-Location}, $[Primary Column]@row and it totals accurately except for the 85 cells. There seems to be a glitch since I changed the column from multi-select to a single dropdown. I logged in/out of Smartsheet. I waited 24 hours and tried again. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
Thanks! Kari

Paul,
I can't provide screenshots due to the sensitivity of the info. I will use the reports for my dashboard since they are pulling the info accurately and scrap my metrics sheet.
Thank you! Kari
