Pre Fill a form with a formula?

Hi

I have a a sheet with contract numbers, the vendor, contract dates etc. What I want to do is have a form where there is a contract number field and once it is populated with a number the other fields would pre fill. So the person puts in the contract number then , Vendor, Contract amount , dates and type fill in, is that possible?

Are you having the person fill out the form and then wanting the dates and type to fill automatically?

Are those prefilled dates you want the going to be the same day that the person adds the contract number?

Are there multiple types that would be pre populated? and based off what?

Yes, it all happens on the same day at the same time. Multiple types I assume you mean of data? Yes there are dates, text fields mostly. All the information is in one sheet. To be more specific, On the form they would put in the contract number, that number matches one already in the sheet, based on that number the I want the Vendor, Contract amount and term date to fill in on the form.
