It would be a good addition to Smartsheet to be able to edit data in Sheet Summary reports, just like we can edit regular Row Reports.
I don't understand why the 'two-way' data entry functionality between Sheets and Reports does not apply to Sheet Summary fields.

I agree this should be a native feature, but FYI @Adrian Mandile CHESS if you click CTRL+E you can edit the fields. Or you can double click the row. But I agree you should not have to do that.
Yes @Samuel Mueller, however it still doesn't allow me to edit locked fields even though I am an 'Admin' and can do so within the Sheet Summary itself.
At the very least, this appears to be inconsistent functionality/behaviour within Smartsheet.

The other issue with this is that the Calendar App cannot pull in data from the report, since it's not directly editable. For me, that took this from a minor inconvenience to an issue that impacts the value of an app that cost more to have access to.

I have similar issue and I vote for this as idea/feedback to add the functionality to smartsheet.
